One day left...

I am so hyped up. In one day I'll be trekking it down south to FINALLY see the New Kids on the Block hit the Tacoma Dome!! My first big arena concert ever :) I'm ready to have my chance as a screaming teenie bopper! Can you imagine back in 1993 I was in the 4th grade... and was denied the opportunity to see them live? Who gets that second chance?! OH wait, I do!

They went from this... 13+ years ago?!? and evolved into this :) YUM! Jon you're still my favorite <3

Year End, I loathe you!

It's almost the end of the fiscal year for most companies. Lots of processing paperwork, and crunching of numbers going on. You can see the stress level quadruple on most coordinators faces and directors massaging their signing hands. It's that time of the year once again. This is what my desk looked like yesterday at 9am... blurriness from my camera phone at it's best :)

I've learned that some people are just natural born slackers that wait until 10am before the 12 noon deadline and think it's OK. fuckers. yes I'm venting. Deadline passed a few hours ago but some stuff is trickling in here and there... I thought I was finished and I felt accomplished; went to the restroom and checked on my car and came back to this... a sneak attack... rawr.
Back to paper pushing and at the end of the day I will go home and nurse my multiple paper cuts and have some wine.

Year end, I loathe you!

Thanksgiving on the Mayflower

I listen to KISS 106.1 during my morning commute to work. They are 22 hours away from finishing their Thanksgiving on the Mayflower fundraiser for Northwest Harvest. I know that everyone is going through some hard times right now and it's hard enough to get through the basics of our lives for some. BUT if you really think about the $25 lip liner, or the $7 coffee, $125 JO's, the $5 magazine etc... That’s just crap that you take for granted. $5 will buy a BAG of groceries to feed a family for a week. I'm not in the northend or Edmonds area so I cannot go there personally BUT there is a link that you can click to donate online where ever in the world you may be.

So help out if you can, it's a small gesture in your eyes but it's food on someone else's table for their families.
