100 days left...
... until I turn 30. YIKES!
This was my collage from my 25th bday - titled "Better @ 25?" Sadly most of it has not changed in the past five years. Which still holds true to the fact that I am not a fan of change and/or I really am that boring! I forgot all the mini things that are in here that make me laugh bc I was so excited to put this together. I even made random notes to myself in the process and had a check list of things that needed to be included that I felt defined me at 25. See anything in there that stands out to you?
I'm excited to start building the "fun and 30" collage this weekend. I've also started to work through my plan my "30 by 30 list" that was started the day I turned 25. The list as been revamped on number of times to fit my current lifestyle ie get married is not something a deadline can be put on. Sadly I have not done much on this list but I'm working on it... the blush colored ones are completed. Anyone down to come along and assist me with getting the rest of this ish "blushed" out?

Sadly this stamp was originally facing the other direction lol - thank goodness for the "rotate" function. Such a random photo and such a random stamp to be giving ppl at the club. Nevertheless, I was a big fan! Even after what felt like the 5th encore of Natural Vibrations aka Natty Vibes I was still smiling. I was exhausted but still smiling. Easter Feast
What do you get when you combine 2 families (13 ppl) + 5 close friends + a bbq grill + 40 beef/chicken/pork skewers + 9lbs of Ham + 5 fish (Pompano to be precise) + 5 roast chickens + pan of pancit + pan of lumpia + 6 containers of vinegar + oversized bowl of fried rice + 2 lbs of longanisa (2 different kinds) + a pan of white rice + 2 pans of hash brown casserole + 2 bags of green beans + 6 ears of corn + 6 baked potatoes + 2 dozen hawaiian rolls + a dozen pan de sal + a bag of green and bag of purple grapes + 4 cartons of strawberries + pan of rice krispy treats + pan of brownies + 2 bottles of prosecco + 2 liters of POG + 4 cases of soda + a lemon meringue pie?
The itis, leftovers for days, 4 dishwasher cycles, and a successful Easter Family Feast :)

Nissan LEAF - World Car of the Year!!

As a herald of an electric car future, jurors for the World Car Awards named the Nissan Leaf as the 2011 World Car. The New York auto show is the yearly venue for the announcement, which also includes awards for performance, design, and environmentalism.
That latter category, the World Green Car, went to the Chevy Volt this year. The Nissan Leaf was a runner-up for the Green award.
The top three competitors for the World Car Award were the Nissan Leaf, Audi A8, and BMW 5-series. The jurors commented that "The Leaf is the gateway to a brave new electric world..." They noted its zero emissions and its generally car-like performance.
The World Car Awards organization is not affiliated with any publication. It uses a set of jurors chosen from amongst automotive journalists.
Other winners were the Ferrari 458 Italia as the World Performance Car and the Aston Martin Rapide for World Design Car.

Many Hands
Threadless Causes uses community-based design for the power of good, giving artists more opportunities to design cool things for meaningful organizations.
It's been almost exactly a month since the earthquake devastated Christchurch, New Zealand, and we're glad to have chosen the design for this challenge. It's not only an awesome design, but its also made by a New Zealander! We're donating 25% from the sale of this tee to Architecture for Humanity's efforts to rebuild the city of Christchurch.

Manchester United Announce 2011 US Tour Plans - United Latest | Manchester United News

Manchester United will travel to America this summer, playing 5 games in a repeat of last year's tour. Sir Alex Ferguson's men will fly over to the United States in July, starting their 2011 US Tour in Boston against Major League Soccer (MLS) clubs before meeting Barcelona in a pre-season friendly in Washington DC. The Red Devils announced the full details of their summer tour on Tuesday, with Sir Alex launching the schedule across the pond.
The Reds will begin the tour on the 13th of July, taking-on the New England Revolution at the Gillette Stadium in Boston, Massachusetts. United will go on to face Seattle Sounders at Qwest Field in Seattle, Washington on the 20th before heading to Chicago, Illinois to meet Chicago Fire at Soldier Field on the 23rd. The Red Army will then kick-off against the MLS All-Stars on the 27th for the second time in two years, at the Red Bull Arena in New Jersey.
The pre-season preparations will be wrapped-up in a glamour friendly against Barcelona on the 30th of July, taking place in the FedEx Field in Washington DC where over 90,000 'soccer' fans will see the biggest clubs on the planet do battle. It will be a repeat of the 2003 friendly in Philadelphia, where United ended their American tour convincingly, seeing-off the La Liga champions by 3-1.
The Red Devils travelled to Canada, The USA, Mexico and the Republic Of Ireland last year, becoming the first International side to beat the MLS All-Stars. United will again play the select XI this summer, after they get practice against three MLS clubs in three stadiums that each hold over 60,000 people. Last year's tour was seen as a huge commercial success, with North America housing approximately 10 million Red DevilsSir Alex Ferguson launched the full details of the 2011 US Tour in New York on Tuesday, saying: "Tours are a fantastic chance for the players to get away as a unit, to put in some good training sessions and to meet some of our fans around the world who don’t have a chance to watch us play live every week."
"Our visits to the US are always enjoyable ones. The training facilities are excellent. We certainly found last year that, with the improving quality of the MLS teams, the games are very competitive, which is great preparation for a new season. To finish off with a match against Barcelona will be a special moment for all our fans in the States."
